LET WORDS MAKE YOU POWERFUL

Tonight, I wish to write about how writing for me is something occasional, something I can’t always do justice to. I feel all those who have a flair for writing will be able to relate with this at some point or the other. Everyday has so much to offer, so much to understand, realize, be sad about and even appreciate. But writing about every such thing isn’t always easy unless you feel about everything with the same intensity and can also express it in the same. Not everyday you find the right words, not every day you get to associate the right feelings with them. Writing to me has made me calm, happy and help me vent out everything inside me. At the same time, it can also destroy me with my own words. Even though writing is just adding words to your thoughts, it still remains a surprise for the reader as well as the writer. Every line that I write has breathings of my heart either when it was broken, or when it found a new reason to beat! It’s amazing to see how words can make us so powerful when everything else tend to make us feel worthless. By now I’ve realized how important it is to write, how important it is to store everything that you feel somewhere and express it in the way in which you know nobody would judge or comment upon. That freedom of thought and expression brings in a lot of honesty and transparency in what we’ve been doing and what we aspire to do. You’ll never know where you’ll reach with that one line that you type.
So I urge everyone to be fearless! Be confident! And be proud!
Of your flaws, imperfections, achievements and fallbacks!
Write about them! Give them a voice! And carry them with you for a lifetime!

  1. Well written Navya, that written word does have great power over us and others. And your voice…it too has great power, but even greater. If used with your heart it can move mountains, even create the most amazing things.
It is just our fears that keep it caged…face our fears and open that cage and nothing can hold us back, the unconditional love waiting within us is finally set free ❤

  2. Nice to meet you, Navya. I really liked this original line: “Every line that I write has breathings of my heart either when it was broken, or when it found a new reason to beat!”

  3. I can relate to this on such a great level. There’s so much to write, so much I want to write but like you said “Not everyday you find the right words, not every day you get to associate the right feelings with them”. Well done mate! Loved it!

  4. Navya, I have recently written about the power of words and can relate to your thoughts. What could be more powerful than the right word at the right time? You ended on such an upbeat idea, which overshadows ant writing concerns. Mastering words comes from loving them. Keep writing!
